Strathclyde 16 Year Old 2005 (cask 15407) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Single grain from the Strathclyde Distillery, independently bottled up by Douglas Laing for the wonderful Old Particular range. This one was aged in a single barrel for 16 years, from November 2005 to November 2021. Following that, this glorious grain was bottled at 48.4% ABV, with just 160 of these bottles produced.

Orange boiled sweets, some tangy red fruit, and polished oak.
Palate
Intensely creamy, with loads of vanilla and honey. A hint of new leather appears underneath.
Finish
