English Whisky North Star Bottling Note

An independently bottled single malt from the English Whisky Co. in Norfolk, matured in a Burgundy wine cask! It was distilled back in 2007 and left to age for 11 years, before being bottled by North Star Spirits with an outturn of 330 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oak char and red grape skin, with distinctive wine aromas and a hint of liquorice.

Palate: Dark chocolate-dipped cherry, with a flinty backdrop, a dusting of five spice and raspberry jam.

Finish: A malty finish with stewed plum.
