A sherried single malt from the Speyside distillery in the eponymous whisky region, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Old Particular range. This single cask release was matured in a sherry butt from November 1996 to May 2018, when it was bottled with an outturn of 215 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Chocolate raisins, fresh ginger, a touch of tobacco balanced by sugarcane.

Palate

Dates, melted butter, leather, pecan pie and molasses.

Finish

A hint of strawberry shines out from behind thick treacle notes.
