Speyburn 8yo #12068 Bottling Note

Distilled in September 2008, this Speyburn 8 Year Old was bottled by Douglas Laing in August 2017 at 48% ABV for the Clan Denny range. A single malt Scotch whisky from a refill hogshead cask that’s non-chill filtered and of natural colour, only 407 bottle have been produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Packed with toasted marshmallow, orange peel sweetness and some floral notes.

Palate: Gentle biscuit and toffee, with notes of custard.

Finish: Sweet malt, lightly toasted barley and plenty of marmalade.
