Sherry
A sherried Speyburn single malt, independently bottled as part of the Old Malt Cask range. This whisky was matured in a sherry butt for 12 years, from October 2005 to February 2018, then bottled at 50% ABV with an outturn of 387 bottles.
Honeycomb, milk chocolate and stem ginger.
Sultana, clove and orange peel notes begin to develop, followed by oily malt and a hint of hoppy bitterness.
Menthol and marmalade.
