Smokey Joe
A blended malt made up of different Islay single malt whiskies. We're not sure which ones, exactly, but we do know that it tastes delicious!
An immensely fruity nose with note of melon and pear with peat smoke lurking behind. The palate retains the big fruity flavours of the nose with the smoke roaring in. This is an intensely satisfying Islay malt, well worth a try.

Go for Big Peat instead...
Very little taste or flavour. Smells like a smoked carpet that a smoked wet dog has been laying on for a week. Ugh really terrible whisky....long time since ive tried something this bad. Islay whiskies is my choice of whisky...but this is like how I imagine a Lagavulin gone really wrong would taste like. Smoke is sour too.
Peat smoke and citrus on the nose; a combination of dry, sooty smoke and an oily mouthfeel on the palate; all wrapped up by a peaty, peppery finish. There's a few Islay blended malts floating around, and this one is by far the best I've tried. As for what's in it..? The backbone is definitely Caol Ila, but the smoke is more reminiscent of Ardbeg. Those two would be my main guess anyway.
Peat and wood lovers be aware of this excellent blend! More smoke than Smokehead, a massive taste of peat and just all round fantastic whisky. I bought this on a whim just a few weeks ago and it's all gone already as I had to let friends have a nip to prove it's worth. Will definitely be buying again but keeping it for myself. Lovely.
I have it from a respected authority, i.e.(he drinks it regularly and has delivered many independent whisky reviews), that the contributing distilleries are Caol Ila, Bowmore & Ardbeg. If so that explains why this is so good! I merely relay this info without being able to authenticate it of course!
