A blended malt made up of different Islay single malt whiskies. We're not sure which ones, exactly, but we do know that it tastes delicious!
An immensely fruity nose with note of melon and pear with peat smoke lurking behind. The palate retains the big fruity flavours of the nose with the smoke roaring in. This is an intensely satisfying Islay malt, well worth a try.

This is one great malt blend! For the price it's superb: 46%, non-chill filtered... wow! And the taste is wonderful! A soft smokey Islay taste. Smoke, Citrus, Fenollic. I love it.
It's a blended malt, yes. I think the individual that wrote the original bottling note for this product must have been having a little smokey of his own at the time! So, it's a blend of different single malts from Islay, but not a "blended whisky", as there's no grain whisky included. As for the 'secret distillery' thing, it isn't complete nonsense in some cases (as explained on our blog in reference to our own Secret Bottling Series: http://www.masterofmalt.com/Blog/post/Brand-New-30-40-and-50-Year-Old-Whisky.aspx) but apologies if we were inadvertently misleading on this one! - The Chaps at Master of Malt
This is a blend, isn't it?? What is this rubbish about keeping the distillery a "secret" so it can be sold more cheaply?? Perhaps you guys shouldn't be quite as misleading with your answers in future...
