Smokehead is a superb, cult single malt from Ian MacLeod. Just a massive, thick peat smoke rich dram. Plenty of great south Islay character.
Smoke! Lapsang souchong. Cool wood smoke. Thick and full.
Big, puckering peat. Smoky, fruity sweetness, touch of sherry, sultana. Herbal.
Herbal, tangy fruits and more peat smoke!

This takes getting used to. I think it was my fourth glass (over four days) before I 'got' this. Once your taste buds are in synch it's excellent, but if that doesn't happen (as has happened to me with some whiskies) I imaging it will taste pretty horrible.
Ditto the above Just similar to Laphroaig
Wow this is great value, i think it’s a young Lagavulin but it could be the famous chameleon Caol Ila. There’s a perfect balance of oaky-ness and Sherry, well rounded and memorable. Very smooth, despite the young age. Bought on offer for £25, a bargain. T
Smoke. A touch of sherry and fruit on the palate, but mostly smoke - which is fine by me! I bought this on offer at £27, and at that price it's decent value.
