All the way from an undisclosed Speyside distillery and joining the Cask Strength Collection from Signatory. This single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 2005 and spent 17 maturing in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt. It was bottled in 2023 without any added colour, and with an outturn of 634 bottles.
Nose Big sherry notes, spiced syrupy figs and raisins.
Palate Spiced fruitcake, Lamingtons, with some oily walnuts, and warming pepper.
Finish Sweet and spicy.
