Why did Signatory put the letters LA on this mystery Islay single malt? We can't possibly think of what it could mean. What isn't a mystery is that the whisky was distilled in 1992, and spent 31 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel. The cask was opened by indie bottler Signatory in 2024, independently releasing a total of 237 bottles for the Symington's Choice Cask Strength Collection.
