An independent bottling of 17 year old single grain Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery, bottled by Signatory. This was distilled on 21st August 1998 and bottled on 19th August 2016 (only 2 days away from its 18th birthday). Which distillery could it be from...? Nose

Buttery, with a hint of butterscotch sweeties too. Subtly oaky, with a hint of rye toast.

Palate

Cinnamon and black pepper. Pears coated in caramel. Orange oil.

Finish

Delicate oak on the finish, with touches of citrus.
