A 13 year old variation on Douglas Laing's spectacular Scallywag blended malt Scotch whisky! Boasting a selection of Speyside malts within its recipe (all aged for at least 13 years for this expression), Scallywag is a well-Sherried treat for the tastebuds. Also, it's got a Fox Terrier on the label, which we're big fans of.
Steamed berry pudding, ginger and vanilla-rich malt.

Lovely. The blenders have done a great job on this. It is nice and smooth. There is a spicy sweet vanilla malty nose. The palate is fruity sweet and Christmas spicy. The aftertaste is pleasant and a has a nice lingering sweetness which reminds me of cooked fruit and cinnamon. At the very end I am left with an almost bubblegum taste at the back of my mouth.
