Scallywag 13 Year Old Whisky

Blended malt is a whisky that is a mixture of single malts from different distilleries with no grain whisky added.

Blended whisky is also a mixture of different single malts but grain whisky is added, so it's not just malt whisky. Typically as far as I'm aware blended whisky is usually about 40% malt 60% grain.

Examples of the two. Johnnie Walker Black label is a blended whisky. Johnnie Walker Green label is a blended malt.

Wow, this is a great blend, very sherried got nose blackberries as soon as I poured in the glass.
Malty palate with vanilla, black pepper and chocolate milkshake.

Well, after my fine wee surprise on a previous order, I bought a bottle, OMG this is such a good whisky, smooth and gets smoother, long soft finish, hints of Balvenie DC 17 in the background, I (The Mrs) will be buying another bottle, soon. Enjoy!!!! my whisky loving friends.
