The Roe & Co Irish whiskey range has grown with the introduction of this cask strength edition. In fact, there's quite a few differences between this expression and the delicious original – this one is a single malt, it's got a 13 year old age statement, and it was entirely aged in Port casks! You do see some fab Port cask finished expressions, but ones aged completely in Port casks aren't all that common, so we're rather curious to check this one out...
Dark chocolate, red plums, a hint of caramel and honey.
Still packing plenty of red fruit notes, paired with some familiar nectarine brightness, and malty vanilla.
