Douglas Laing presents a 16-year-old edition of its beloved Rock Island blended malt whisky! Bringing together malts from the islands of Orkney, Arran, Jura, and Islay, this smoky, coastal gem matured predominantly in Spanish sherry casks before bottling at a satisfying 46.8% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration.
Sea spray and coastal smoke are backed by sweet notes of candied nuts and spiced sultanas.
Honeyed dried fruits join burnt biscuits and oaken vanilla, with elegant whispers of peppery peat and oat cakes with marmalade.
Honeycomb, toasted, salted almonds, sweet peat, vanilla walnut fudge, a touch of brine.
