From Jackton Distillery’s RAER series comes this award-winning blended Scotch finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain. Following the success of the Oloroso Expression, this PX finish picked up a Gold Medal at the World Scotch Whisky Awards 2023, and it’s not hard to see why. Rich, silky, and brimming with dried fruit and sherried indulgence, it’s a dram built for sherry lovers.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Packed with ripe raisins, figs, and dates, followed by marzipan, banana, and creamy crème brûlée.
Palate
Silky layers of toasted oak, honey, and figs, alongside caramelised sugar and a hint of roasted coffee bitterness.
Finish
Fruity, complex, and perfectly balanced with warm sherry sweetness, smooth smoke, and a touch of nutty oak.
