Puni 4yo PX Darkness

Hailing from Italian whisky maker Puni, this four-year-old blended malt enjoyed a finish in a tiny custom-made Pedro Ximénez octave cask before it was bottled by Darkness. Thanks to their small size, octave casks enable greater interaction between spirit and wood and this one has offered up plenty of notes of leathery oak, tobacco, coffee, and plummy fruit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Toasty almond biscuits, chocolate coffee beans, jammy plums and a delicate touch of fragrant tobacco.

Palate Waxed citrus, mocha, and cooked stone fruits are joined by cigar box spice and leathery oak.

Finish A touch of pepper and savoury woody spice join earthy coffee.
