This single malt from the closed distillery of Port Ellen distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2012 for Douglas Laing's Old & Rare collection.
Grape juice, sherbet lemons and chamois leather on the nose leading to a complex palate of citrus fruits, supple peat notes and sea salted caramel. The finish is long and lingering with notes of soft calves leather, grapes and lemon zest.
