Port Ellen 35 Year Old 1983 (cask 13765) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
A spectacular 35-year-old whisky from Port Ellen, joining Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular collection of rare whiskies. This single cask, single malt Scotch was distilled in 1983 and left to slumber soundly for 35 years in a single refill hogshead, before being bottled straight from the cask at 54.3%, non-chill filtered, and with no added colour. With an outturn of only 133 hand-filled bottles, this particularly astounding Islay expression will make a great addition to any collection.
