Port Ellen 32 Year Old 1982 (cask 10568) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing) 70cl Whisky

32 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary (sadly closed) Port Ellen distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was distilled in October 1982, the year before the distillery was mothballed, and left to age in a single refill hogshead. 32 years later, in December 2014, it was bottled by Douglas Laing for their premium indie bottling range, Xtra Old Particular. Just 115 bottles were produced.
