From the Clan Denny Chronicles range (which features a label referencing stores of yore and yonder) comes a 16 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the sadly closed Port Dundas Distillery, aged in a single refill barrel. The label harks back to a tale of a vampire who apparently was hanging about in Glasgow back in the 1950s, though it seems to have just been an urban legend from an American comic book. 143 bottles were produced.
Banana fritters in a pan, brioche buns, a hint of papaya.
Brown sugar and honey, with marzipan, melon, and banana bread in tow.
Simmering winter spices last on the finish.
