Port Dundas 16 Clan Denny Bottling Note

From the Clan Denny Chronicles range (which features a label referencing stores of yore and yonder) comes a 16 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the sadly closed Port Dundas Distillery, aged in a single refill barrel. The label harks back to a tale of a vampire who apparently was hanging about in Glasgow back in the 1950s, though it seems to have just been an urban legend from an American comic book. 143 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Banana fritters in a pan, brioche buns, a hint of papaya.

Palate Brown sugar and honey, with marzipan, melon, and banana bread in tow.

Finish Simmering winter spices last on the finish.
