Port Dundas 29 Year Old 1995 (cask 64936) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)

A rare and regal single grain from Glasgow’s now-vanished Port Dundas distillery, aged for 29 years in a single bourbon hogshead. Distilled on 26 June 1995 and bottled on 21 May 2025 without chill-filtration or added colour, this is a cask strength dram of considerable charm, with just 218 bottles released.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Rich vanilla and coconut cream, soft butterscotch, freshly sawn oak, and hints of lemon curd. Subtle aromas of antique leather and toasted marshmallow drift in as it opens.

    Palate

Sweet corn and golden syrup lead the charge, followed by layers of toffee popcorn, buttery pastry, and banana fritters. A gentle peppery warmth and charred oak note add structure.

    Finish

Long and mellow, with crème caramel, soft spice, and lingering notes of vanilla pod and old library books.
