Scotland
Sherry
This single grain Scotch whisky was distilled at Port Dundas in August 2008 and spent the next 16 years maturing in a pair of second-fill oloroso sherry butts. The casks were cracked open by Signatory in December 2024, independently bottling up the whisky without added colour or chill filtration.
Sherried fruits, butterscotch, and fruit-laden flapjack, with cakey spices joining in time.
Silky notes of honeyed fruit, milk chocolate, and fruity maple granola, with rich oaken spices in tow.
Warming spices linger, with candied nuts, and dried orange wheels dipped in dark chocolate.

I have had quite a few port dundas grains, this is a delightful dram well worth the price, might have to buy another bottle.
Great taste. Love it. Nice with a single ice cube.
