This is the first batch of Old Perth - a classically styled blended malt whisky from Morrison & MacKay. This is carefully blended a tribute to the city of Perth.
Barley malt and hints of spice. Candy floss and toffee apples.
Peppery, malty palate with gingerbread and stewed fruit.
Spiced finish. Medium-long.
A malty, easy-going dram.

I tasted this first release at the whisky fair "the village" in Nürnberg (Germany). All I can say is: Oh my gosh! It has that strong aroma very much like a Chiva's Regal BUT of course this is at least one league above. It is so smooth and warm, you could almost drink it like lemonade to accompany you on a long evening with a book or a movie or so. In my opinion, this is one of the best malts unter 50€. I love it.
