Description
This six-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky from North Star Spirits combines malt from Ardnamurchan, Highland Park, and other undisclosed distilleries. Highland distilleries, hence, The Highland Connection. The malts were distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025 at 50.6% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Smoked rhubarb, bonfire embers, red raisins, marzipan, and coastal malt.
Palate
Peppery sherry, caramelised orange, cedarwood, dark cherries, and sweet smoke.
Finish
Dry and silky, with marzipan, coffee, eucalyptus cream, and lingering spice.
