Orkney 13 Year Old 2007 - North Star Spirits
A mysterious North Star Spirits bottling here from an undisclosed Orkney distillery! It was distilled in 2007 and left for 13 years, initially in a refill hogshead before it was finished in a Pedro Ximénez cask. It was bottled at a burly 59.6% ABV with an outturn of 308 bottles. Nose
Rather festive, with Christmas spices, cinnamon rolls and orange oil.
Palate
Roasted, salted nuts, dulche de leche and golden syrup.
Finish
Strawberry cream, mocha and digestive biscuits.
