A triple pack of 20cl bottles from North Star Spirits, featuring a trio of terrific independently bottled single malt Scotch whiskies. This set includes a bottle of 14 year old Linkwood, 14 year old Blair Athol, and an 8 year old Caol Ila.
The Blair Athol is lovely- sweet centre, balanced power, elegance and body. I got rum n raisin ice cream on the finish. Would kill for a full size bottle. The Linkwood basically got me looking up Linkwood all over the internet (and buying Infrequent Flyers' version as this isn't around in 70cl)- it's lovely, drying, warming, elegant, some sweetness. Winner. I'm not much a peat guy (trying), so haven't opened the Ila yet. Really impressed by NS- great designs too.
