From the North Star Spirits folks comes a 10 year old single malt from the Isle of Islay - though no clues as to which distillery was behind it! This whisky was distilled in October 2007 and bottled in February 2018 after a finishing period in a red wine cask, which has imparted a rich, fruity sweetness alongside the classic Islay peat. 326 bottles were produced.
Mineral-y smoke, blood orange and fruit-filled scones.
Coastal notes begin to develop, while hints of juicy raspberry sit up front.
