A spectacular 37 year old Grain whisky from the now closed North of Scotland distillery. A frankly amazing age of whisky for the price.
Fantastic and a big favorite of mine. Cannot find it anywhere!
This is remarkably similar to the Nikka Single Grain Coffey Still whisky - not entirely surprising given the production methods. Outstanding stuff; a shame there's very little around for this distillery.
I recently went to the whisky live event in London and this stood out from the crowd, and believe me I tried a LOT of whiskies there. Warm and sweet and worth every penny.
