Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
An intense nose which runs deep with sherry-soaked raisins and those rhubarb and custard sweets that are hard to find these days.
Palate
Massive, rich vanilla notes, with more custard coming through as well. Deeper within you'll find some nutty notes wrapped up in smooth oak.
Finish
Return of the sherry!
Overall
You can't fault Hunter Laing for waiting so long before cracking open this cask if it tastes this good.
