Description

A well-aged single grain Scotch whisky from North British, selected by Signatory for its Cask Strength Collection. Distilled on 2 September 1991, it spent 34 years maturing in a refill oloroso sherry butt before bottling on 28 January 2026. Cask 262086 yielded 442 bottles at 52.9% ABV, all without chill-filtration or added colour.

Nose

Fudge sweetness alongside mature oak and raisin, brightened by citrus peel and a little coconut.

Palate

Caramel, dried fruit and cereal sweetness, deepening into chocolate and roasted nuts.

Finish

Sustained vanilla and cocoa notes, with dried fruit and a gently spicy oak dryness.
