A well-aged single grain whisky from the North British Distillery! This expression was distilled in 1991 and popped into a refill sherry butt to let time do its work. 30 years later, in 2021, the whisky was independently bottled up at cask strength by Signatory for its Cask Strength Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet grain and toasted cereal, wafts of vanilla, baked apple, and juicy pear.
Palate
Buttery popcorn and sweet floral honey mingle with soft oak spice and background notes of hay.
Finish
Maple granola, gently nutty with savoury grain and pepper cutting through the sweet caramel.
