Sherry
We do love some superb sherried single grain. This one comes from the North British Distillery, and was filled into a refill sherry butt back in September 1991. After 28 years of maturation, it was bottled up in March 2020 for the Cask Strength Collection, with an outturn of 283 bottles produced.
Heavy raisin and prune richness, with some polished oak and strong coffee underneath.
Still packed with dried fruit, now joined by dark chocolate shavings, strawberry bubblegum and white pepper.
Peanut brittle and mince pie filling.
