Here we have Nobushi, a blend of Japanese malt and grain whiskies from the Miyagi, Nagano, and Hokkaido prefectures, matured in American oak! It's named after the Nobushi, Japanese elite warriors sworn to protect villages – the word actually translates as 'spirit of honour'. The more you know!
Caramel and heaps of spices, with cinnamon, nutmeg and honeycomb alongside toasty oak.
Mint and earthy vanilla pod, with orange curd and sultana.
Peppery wood spice and buttery caramel.

Really enjoyed this whisky. Its smooth, warm, easy going.
Had it kept for awhile and decided to crack it open last night. By far one of the worst Japanese whisky I've had. Taste we rather harsh and spicy and sulphury. There's not much information you can find about this whisky online and its rather ambiguous. So I doubt there's any good quality liquid in this blend.
Has more of a rum flair to it. Initial palate sensation is strong and smooths out to a sweet finish.
