Mighty Mortlach, and a 24 year old at that! Here we have this Speysider at natural cask strength, filled into a single cask on 14th May 1991 and disgorged on 2nd December 2015, yielding 587 bottles.
Nose: Fragrant, leafy malt, brown sugar and dried fruit.
Palate: Some of that meaty character, red apple, plum, berries, a touch of lime.
Finish: Cooked fruit, chocolate and oak spice.
