An independent bottling of 20 year old single malt from one of the many distilleries in the Speyside region - Mortlach! This was distilled in July 1996 and aged in a pair of hogshead casks until December 2016, when it was bottled without any chill-filtration or additional colours by Signatory.
Stem ginger and toasted teacakes. A savoury hint of olive oil and red chilli.
Toffee and more red chilli heat. Some dry cocoa notes develop. Melted butter.
Slightly meaty. Melted butter once again.
