Well-Sherried single malt from Mortlach, drawn from a single Sherry hogshead which was filled in 1994 and cracked open in 2017. 193 bottles were released by Malts of Scotland, presented at cask strength.
Rum-soaked raisin and Jamaican Ginger Cake. A hint of rubber.
Toasted teacakes with oodles of sultanas, a fiery kick of clove and cinnamon.
Subtle smokiness sticks around.
