Mighty Mortlach single malt here, presented by Signatory for its Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled in 2008 and aged in a first-fill bourbon cask (#800123) for 17 years before bottling at 48.9% ABV. This Mortlach was released together with a sister cask (#800115), each showcasing the character of the outsider Speysider and how small variations in maturation can shape two similar but separate drams.
