Mortlach 16 Year Old 1997 (cask 797679) - The Octave (Duncan Taylor) 70cl Whisky

A Mortlach single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by Duncan Taylor for the Octave range. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2014. Before it was bottled, it was finished in tiny Octave sherrywood casks, which influence the whisky faster than regular casks due to the increased surface area to volume. Only 88 bottles were produced.
