From Douglas laing's handsome Old Particular bottling range comes a single cask mortlach single malt! This treat from the 'Beast of Dufftown' (a name used for the distillery by fans of Mortlach) was distilled in march 2005 and matured in a refill hogshead until April 2017, when it bottled with an outturn of 329 bottles.
Hazelnuts, toasted barley and layers of rich honey.
Melted butter on crumpets, marzipan, crumbly pastry.
Mint chocolate, apple pie and a lingering oiliness.
