Morris Australian Single Malt Whisky Muscat Barrel Finish
An awesome Australian single malt here from the Morris Distillery, situated in the small town of Rutherglen. The Morris family has been producing exceptional tipples since 1859, and the distillery is based on the same site as the family winery – which comes in handy when they're after some interesting casks to mature the whisky in! This expression is initially matured in a combination of French and American oak, as well as ex-wine barrels, and saving best for last, it's then treated to a finishing period in Morris Muscat barrels, imparting oodles of rich, sweet fruit and spice.

Nose
Rich, dark sugar, boozy dates, and figs with a medley of aromatic baking spice.
Palate
Dried fruits continue with prunes, sultanas, and more figgy notes bringing sweetness to the rich malty character. Soft vanilla and spice build alongside rich oak.
Finish
Sweet, rich oak, with creamy vanilla and lingering spice.
