Michel Couvreur The '90s Bottling Note

A stunning bottle of whisky from Michel Couvreur, The '90s. The rare single malt was distilled in Scotland in December 1990, and was then transported to France where it matured for 26 years. Over a quarter of a decade! The ageing took place in a single Oloroso sherry cask in a Burgundian cave - now that's not something you see every day. The whisky was finally bottled in December 2017 at 47% ABV. As always with Michel Couvreur, the bottle is quite stunning.
