McConnell's was first established in Belfast by in 1776 by a pair of brothers, disappeared in 1958 and was then revived once more! This here is the 5 Year Old from the range, a blend that has been matured in American oak barrels. A enjoyably spicy Irish whiskey!

Floral, with a gentle spicy bite on the finish, & just slightly sweet. Nothing overpowering but a quality sipper, neat or over ice, if that's your thing. Very good whiskey.
Super sweet and toasty. I've been looking for this since it sold out on Amazon.
Sweet and smooth. An easier drinker than most whiskeys twice as expensive. However this whiskey maintains its unique character that will have you pouring more. Plus the bottle looks amazing!
Simple, straight, forward and enjoyable but lacks many real depth to make it interesting. Better options like Black Bush existin
Great whisky, especially for the price. Hints of vanilla and butterscotch.
