Description

Single cask Macduff, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range. The whisky was filled into hogshead #11775 in June 2009 and left to mature for 8 years, until June 2018. A release of 356 bottles.

Nose

Gingerbread, lemon peel and a subtly savoury hint of basil leaf.

Palate

Apricot and sultana notes appear on the palate, alongside grassy malt and vanilla pod.

Finish

Meringue, biscuit dough, pear.
