Single malt from the Macduff distillery, aged for over quarter of a century! This whisky was distilled in June 1992 and left to age for 25 years in a refill butt, before being bottled in September 2017 by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular range. A release of 336 bottles.
Sherried orange peels, melted chocolate, a light touch of ground coffee.
Thick and rich, with notes of caramel, chocolate-coated peanuts and clove.
Citrus reemerges, now paired with damp oak and walnut.
