This single malt from Macduff was distilled in 2008 and filled into a single hogshead to mature. 15 years later, in 2023, the cask was cracked open by Douglas Laing, releasing a total of 352 bottles for the independent Old Particular collection.
Sweet, creamy malt and oaken spice are backed by waves of runny toffee and melted milk chocolate.
Chocolate-coated nuts and burnt brown sugar bring sweetness, with buttery barley and notes of sweet popcorn in tow.
Maple syrup, spiced nuts, ginger loaf, and a touch of pepper.
