Description
A single cask bottling of Longmorn single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. It was distilled in October 1996 and aged in a refill hogshead until March 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of 263 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy vanilla and burnt sugar, with a hint of fresh orchard fruit on the side.
Palate
More apples and orange, now with a good kick of baking spice underneath.
Finish
Quite nutty and sweet - though not cloying in the slightest.
