Longmorn 14 Year Old 2003 (cask 12573) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

A Douglas Laing bottling of Longmorn single malt, drawn from a refill hogshead that was filled in November 2003 and cracked open in May 2018. After this 14 year maturation, it was bottled as part of the Old Particular range, producing just 317 bottles.

Nose

Honeyed malt and fresh lemon, with a hint of new leather in the background.

Palate

Green apple, new oak, brown sugar and a light hint of toasted barley.

Finish

Continued honeyed deliciousness.
