Longmorn 17 Year Old 2002 (cask 800621) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)

Here we've got a 17 year old single malt from the Longmorn Distillery, independently bottled by Signatory as part of the Cask Strength Collection. It was filled into a single bourbon barrel back in September 2002 and left to mature until June 2020, when it was bottled up at cask strength. A release of just 196 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Blueberry muffin, lemon curd, a subtle hint of salt and pepper crisps.

Palate

Chewy malt, grilled pineapple, waxy peels, chocolate digestives and some forest floor earthiness.

Finish

Juicy orchard fruit lasts.
